There has been a lack of action from EA during FIFA 15 in terms of enforcing punishment for coin sellers thus leading to a number of TTG posts questioning whether the risk of a ban is even present and if so, whether the risk is significant enough to deter people. EA's hiatus appears to have ended here for several reddit users have received emails warning about coin selling.

Whilst you've always been running some form of risk by violating EA TOS, the risk is now greater than ever. Nobody knows if this'll progress in to serious bans and other punishments but it's certainly foreboding.

Tread with caution guys!

I wouldn't say so, as you are still breaking the ToS.

I guess it's possible, but I highly doubt that would be the reason for you not getting a email/warning. Surely EA must be able to see when you received the coins, especially excessive amounts, so Maybe you somehow got lucky and managed to get away with it? Either that or they're sending so many people emails that some people haven't got them yet. Who knows.

Seems like some people on Reddit have been banned without warning at all too, depends on the amount I reckon.

about time they did something about it imo.

I am just strongly against buying coins, seems pointless to me. I just don't understand why people spend so much money on UT.

Also it's absolutely ridiculous how many coins youtubers can get and nothing happens about it
