So i just got done building my first PC.
I turn it on and it says "boot and select proper boot device"
"Insert boot media in selected Boot Device a press a key"

I have no idea what this means. Please help!

Well did you ever get a hard drive?

Or did you go with a substitution for now?

What is the "substitution" that you are using?

"boot and select proper boot device"
"Insert boot media in selected Boot Device a press a key"

Just means that the BIOS doesn't know or cannot find any bootable media, i.e Windows installation files or a HDD/SSD with any boot files on them...

If it's a brand new rig, you'll need either a Windows disc or USB or Linux.
