Where are you from and what's your budget?

You may be able to get the card from a different retailer which is around the same price.

The r9 280 is worth it, and if you decide to overclock you can get it around the same performance as the
r9 280x if not better.

Heres some benchmarks - [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Or get an r9 280 from amazon

If you get that you'd have enough money for the option of a modular PSU as well.

280>270x. The 280 can be overclocked to almost match the performance of a stock 280x. However, GTX 760 have come down in price and out perform both the 280, and 280x. If you can find a 760 within budget, get that instead. Otherwise, wait for the 280.

Again hopefully your stupidity didn't make this guy waste his money a r9 280x and r9 280 are both superior to a gtx 760 don't listen to that bs

be a cheeky little shit all you want, 760 out performs 280 for a lower cost. From what I've seen, the 760 also out performs the 280x.
