Every time i try to use IM on here, chrome keeps crashing. I can use it on firefox without problems though.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this. +Rep if anyones idea works.

I use to have that problem, I fixed it by closing Google Chrome and re-opening it as Administrator.
