So I finally got my Xbox one today and the Master chief collection came with it
but come to find out it came as a digital copy of the master chief collection which is
around 45 gigs to download so i said **** that and went and got the disk copy which that
still has 20 gigs to download for the multi player what do these people think we all have
fiber optic internet and can download a gig in one second? Like seriously it would take me a week to download 45 gigs and a couple days to just download the 20 gig one because my internet
is the slowest shit ever what our you guys thoughts on this
End of rant.

I get why your mad and your another reason why these companies and the media should not go digital because until our internet infrastructure here in america is better we won't be able to download half of the things that go digital nowadays.
EDIT: Another thing I forgot to add is also what happens down the line if I had a game digital and I had deleted it for space on my hard drive and I want to play it again but by now the servers for the xbox one are shut down then I have no way to access my purchase.

No 330 is def not enough space. But atleast you can buy external hard drives that are 1tb and hook up 2 of them
to our xbox ones that should be way more than enough. Just don't understand why they couldnt just give us a tb hard drive.

The next gen consoles and PCs as well all rely on digital downloads now. The average internet speed can handle this and just because your internet is slower than average does not mean that it is a bad thing. The games they make now are more graphically enhanced and more maps, game modes, etc which all adds to the download size of said games.

Dont buy digital, that solves your problem. Easy as that. If you still want to buy digital, upgrade your internet. Two easy fixes.

I was kind of mad about that too until I realized I can play games, watch Netflix, and/or do anything else basically whilst it downloads. So I don't care anymore. Besides, digital is the way to go. CDs are so 2000.

Well if your internet is that bad then to be honest you shouldn't have bought an xbox one, You just need to upgrade your internet..

And for those of us who can't upgrade our internet because we are on the best we can get yet still suffer from around 400kb/s download and 36kb/s upload. Then what?
I simply leave my PC on overnight downloading things because it's faster and doesn't slow everybody else down.

this exactly explains my problem im on the best internet i can get in my area trust me
ive been through internet company time and time again trying to get decent internet
and have failed just because where i live so all of you people saying just upgrade your
internet well i have tried and until some miracle happens or i move out I wont get better
internet and plus what ECW said may or may not be true because i'm not sure if when
xbox one servers go down will you still be able to play the game you downloaded I just know discs are
more convent to have but anyways if I had the choice to get better internet I would pay
for it myself.
Edit: I do the exact same thing my internet runs off towers so if a lot of people are
using the internet i use then it slows me down it doesn't even have to be in my house
so at night when everyone goes to sleep my internet gets faster and thats why i download
stuff at night
