You would be better off doing a 200x200 and letting the system resize it though.

but the only thing is that i have to zoom in on a 100x100 and when i place a picture in it its all pixelated. ill try 200x200

For TTG there are no restrictions. When it is uploaded it will resize automatically. You could make it anything you wanted, but for best results a square dimension works best (200x200, 800x800, 1500x1500, etc)

I typically go 100x100. Just because every time I attempt to make a bigger picture the size is to large

Go to file, Save for Web and then you can make it under the size limit.

For the best quality, use 150x150.
