not sure what to do. It's pissing me off, I have a 3tb and I partitioned 1 tb to fat32 and it gives me a error when I format from my xbox otherwise it won't show up on xex. I can reward whoever fixed my problem

Some consoles just don't like HDDs over 1TB in storage. I know that mine doesn't exactly work well with anything over 500gb since it takes a super long time to load up if I do plug one in.

You need to let the xbox MS dash format the drive first, worked for me.

The largest HDD I have ever been able to use and format was a 2 TB.
And you created a partition on it as well.
Try it without the partition.

The issue is that your drive has a 4K sector size. New, large drives have that.

The Xbox 360 only supports drives that have a sector size of 512 bytes.
