Hey guys, I just got Borderlands TPS yesterday and so far I'm loving it. I picked Wilhelm to start off with and got up to level 17, but I've realized that he might not have been the best pick (for me, personally). Wolf and Saint just don't cut it for me.
What would you guys recommend for the best solo class? I'm thinking about bring my save into an editor and changing the character (Don't want to start over from the beginning!), so I want to know what would be the best/funnest class for me to play solo.
If you can include pros/cons, and maybe even the best skill tree to go with, that would be great!
Thanks guys.

The best character to use is most probably Nisha - Her weapon damage is completely overpowered and her ability to automatically lock onto enemies makes it easier to get kills.

Been having alot of fun with the gladiator. Always nice to use the shield ability when your health is low and it gives you enough time to recharge

Really the best character can only be decided on you and your preferred play style. Do you like to snipe, run up real close and melee, use explosives, or go guns blazing? In my opinion, Wilhelm is the best for a solo play through, but if he's not working out for you I'd recommend either Nisha, who is incredibly strong, or Athena who is a good melee class. Her shield is great mainly when you go down the center skill tree. Hope this helps.
