I mean you just looked up a background(forgot what they were called) and put text with gradient and added stroke

it's not too bad but i think you should start working with more textures and colors.

I think thats the most important part when starting out (like me) as long as we have fun whilst getting used to the ins and outs then it will make it easier to learn.
I have had a couple tutorials frustrate me where I have had to leave it for a little while or it would put me off.

As we are just starting out I think this aint too bad, you could have gone down the C4D route and used so much pack stuff we couldnt see what you wanted us to see.
