Well you see it's just not your own.
It's nothing special to just copy off a tutorial, I have personally seen this tutorial before, watched it when I was starting off.
But I didn't copy the complete design, I toke methods from it, and toke notes off it, and realized that clean logos look the best.
For example, I kept the idea that mixing light and heavier fonts could go good together. The thing is, you don't want to just copy what you see. It's about creating your own unique things, that's part of being a designer, you're doing your own thing.
Just take in some of this, and try to realize what I'm saying and that it will take you farther then copying off other work that everyone has already done. Being unique is the key.
