In this tutorial I will be showing you how to create a custom header for your topics on this site so they dont look plain. This post is useful for pretty much anyone whether you are hosting a car meet on GTA or showing off a new PC build.
This tutorial is very simple so you shouldn't need any help but if you do dont hesitate to ask.

To follow this tutorial you are going to need a few things.
First of all you will need Photoshop you can do this with other programs such as gimp but I assume most people have photoshop.

You can download my premade template for headers its very simple but it has the correct dimensions so all you need to do is add text.

A little bit of time, this tutorial will not take long and you will be able to create your own header shortly!

If you are going to use any images on your header get them ready before hand.

There isnt a defined resolution you need to use but for this tutorial I will be using
500 x 150

First step:

If you are using my template you can skip this part.

First step is setting up your image and choosing your resolution to get to the menu shown above press File>New
Once it has loaded choose your resolution and press Ok.
If this is your first time using photoshop make sure to the right of the numbers it displays pixels and not another measurement such as inches.

Step 2:

Once your document loads you will be Greeted with an empty canvas. If you are not using my template you will not have any guides on your template but that does not matter.

Step 3:

Using the text tool put appropriate text and choose a suitable font. (I am using American Captain which you can find on dafont.com)

If you want to add images or extra text you can thats up to you.
To add images drag and drop the image onto the document.

Step 4:
Time to save your creation.
First you will want to save the PSD file which is the document and will allow you to edit and change it in future.
file>Save as
Then press save.

Second you will want to save it again put as a png so you can use it on TTG
file>save as

Underneath were you name the file there is a drop down menu use it and select the png extension.

This is what you are left with. My one is very plain and simple but works fine for what I wanted it for. If you wish to add an image to the background you can.

To use it you will need to upload it to an image hosting site such as Imgur.
If you upload to Imgur it provides you with a thing you can copy and paste it is the line that has
Copy the image address into your topic and that is everything complete!

A tutorial is a tutorial nothing unique about it.
The style is a simple style which I use for alot of things.

Also I was working on this before you released your topic I started it 2 weeks back before I fell Ill.

On top of that dont go to someone elses topic just to bash Im trying to help people, you coming over and saying that my design is "stolen" is non helpful and useless remark.
