yah me 2 i will be making a different one shortly but with 980 sc and instead of a k cpu im making an x cpu and a server motherboard

Nothing, that PC is fine as it is.

Personally, if I had $2000 to upgrade that rig, I'd get a 5960x, some DDR4 RAM and an X99 motherboard, then with whatever is left over, custom loop. Add another 970 in SLI if you have enough left over. Although, what you have now is more than enough.

$2000 wouldn't get you a whole new rig with a 5960x, at least not a very balanced one. 2 expensive rigs are pretty pointless too. Honestly, what you have now is fine. Upgrading the 4790k to 5960x would be nice, but entirely unnecessary unless you're going to make all the use from the 5960x's 8 cores. 2nd 970 in SLI would also be nice, but again, unnecessary unless you're gaming at 4k, even then I don't think it would help too much. If you're an enthusiast, then custom loop and 5960x would be wise tbh, that's what I would do. Upgrading to 5960x and adding a custom loop might leave you a little bit of money left which you could put towards a 2nd 970 if you really wish.
