Horror/Gorey/Supernatural Anime!

Attack on Titan (GOREY AS HELL.)
Death Note (Supernatural anime, dark.)
Parasyte (A parasite eats the main characters right hand and you know... Not really scary but there's blood in there.)
Tokyo Ghoul (All three genres listed above.)
Corpse Party (This anime is on par with AoT on gore.)
Blood-C (I haven't actually seen this yet, but have it downloaded ready to go.)
Another (This anime is about people dying, someone dies in nearly every episode. The gore picks up around the last 3-4 episodes of the series.)

Only ones off the top of my head.

Mirai Nikki - Psychological thriller with a good amount of gore

Arpeggio blue steel - Cute girls that are also battleships? yes. *Has a movie being released in 2015 I believe*

No Game No Life - Game based like SAO, really good but only currently has 1 season.

Angel Beats - Short, good, and feelsy.

Those were a few that I could think of at the top of my head.

Berserk (Read the manga)
Code Geass? ,-,
Ladies vs Butlers (top kek ecchi harem anime)
Freezing (fighting, ecchi, harem)
Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin (Prison anime that teaches you a lot about friendship, personally my favorite anime)
Kill la Kill (good fighting anime, 20 something episodes long, good watch)
btooom (good anime, sorta like sao if you think about it)
Gantz (gory, fighting)
