So I got a Inspiron 15 3000 Series for Christmas and was wondering if this was good enough to play pc games on or not and if its a good computer in general. Any opinions would be appreciated!

Nope

Just your average desktop [office] PC which is not intended for gaming at all.

General use like surfing the interwebs and stuff will be fine. Gaming will have to be on non-demanding games at low settings.

Not any good for games, it will do for minecraft and is a decent pc for doing standard activities but you won't be playing any high demanding games. Sorry
