If your using XBLSE it does it for you.

To spoof your MAC address, just build an image in XeBuild and in Advanced Options, there is an option to generate a random MAC address.

I wouldn't recommend doing it even if you spoof but the question is do you have a Static or Dynamic ip?

Microsoft doesn't IP ban anymore. I have been hosting with both my retail and RGH online at the same time on the same network several times and I still haven't gotten retail banned. If you still want to spoof your IP, just unplug your router before and after hosting.

Even though that is true its bad because if microsoft flags your ip then you'll get banned quicker/easier

Just use XeBuild. It seriously takes only 5 minutes to spoof your MAC address then reflash your image back on.
