Hey guys,
I'm a rookie when it comes to using a JTAG and have almost 0 knowledge on how to use one. I was just wondering is it still worth while buying an xbox 360 that is fitted with a jtag or is it a waste of time now?
any information would be really appreciated!
Thanks

If you still have fun playing on an xbox 360 then you will definatly have fun with a RGH. They will last as long as the xbox 360 will.
RGH/JTAGs still have their pros as you can download and play as many games as your hard drive can hold.
They really are fun however, they may only last another 6 years or so, MAYBE.
if you're in need of a RGH/Jtag then be sure to check the one that i am selling out Forums/t=6949498/s-trinity-rgh-fr...-used.html

If you have 0 knowledge of them, I would definitely not buy one now. If you are going to buy one, do yourself and everyone else a favour by doing some general research on them, and do NOT buy one if your intentions are solely to host modded lobbies on CoD.

Lxx_Adams wrote time for me to get really nooby, what is the difference between RGH and JTAG (ive never heard of rgh :L)There is pretty much no difference (well in hardware there is but not so much what it actually does)

An RGH in my opinion is much better than a Jtag, RGH is less prone to red ring, heat is kept very low so this is good for long hosting sessions or gaming sessions.
The also have improved fans and stuff like that. One of the best RGH consoles that you can get right now is the trinity.

Like I said, do not buy any modded consoles just to mod CoD, they have so much potential that is being thrown away by some "leet haxor" who will spend the rest of his life trying to make money off of 12 year olds.
RGH - Reset Glitch Hack
More expensive than JTAGs
Can be done on any dashboard
RGH1 have instant boot times but can only be made if the dashboard if within a certain range
RGH2 have slower boot times but can be made on any dashboard
Can have dual NAND installed, you can swap the NANDs over to play modded, or retail.
JTAG
Instant boot times
Very cheap to make
Can only be done on and up to the 7311 dashboard
Rare as they can only be made on very old dashboards
Cannot be made dual NANDs

I highly suggest you look and read up on emulators and LiNK, it might change your mind about wanting to be an Xbox hacker.
The consoles were made for home brew NOT modding games.
Use them for what they're made for. Hosting is boring.
