want to play MW2 with my mates but I get to thinking about how every lobby you get into is modded and I'm not trying to catch a ban. I hope they remaster the old CODs for the Xbox one so we can all play in peace away from the modding bullshit.

I don't want to be a hypocrite because I used to use CFG but that was when CFG first started. Now its expanded and just annoys me that people think they are some sort of hacker/modder just because they have a USB.

Yes mw2 and cod4 I think the best it the franchise, but if you go on today theres actually not much hackers. On mw2 you'll get noob tubers and I odd hacker. Cod4, you'll find more modders/hackers but there still great games.

Are we talking about the PS3 version because on the 360 there are no CFG infections, only the rare occasion of an XP lobby or some coloured killfeed infection which doesn't affect gameplay.

I like modding on games like MW2 but I never go online with my mods. I just stick to private matches with my friends.

I think they should go back and ban some of these hackers that go into public matches. I understand that some people enjoy modifying a game, but keep that shit in a private match. I dont care if you give yourself max rank and unlock everything, just dont do it to others and dont bring it online.

It is an unavoidable problem. I dont mean that you will never play normal games again but the modders will always find ways to get there Jtags online.

I couldn't agree more the game has been ruined for a while now and I loved MW2 when it was in it's prime. Now all the good Call Of Duty's are ruined by mods and all the new Call Of Duty's are simply boring cancerous additions to a dying franchise.

BO2 is the only cod I play now, miss Mw3/Mw2 but alas they are ruined by hacking fa66ots.

I starting playing cod from Call of Duty 4 when it first came out, so it's not like I started at Black ops 2 or Ghosts. Anyway, that's not the point of this topic. Modern Warfare 2 in my opinion, is the greatest game of the franchise. And I can't even join a game without some gay little CFG hackers gay little mod menu spamming my screen. If you have a real mod menu, as in that requires a jtag/jail broken PS3 I get that, and you don't have to write all over the other players screen. But I'd just like to get into ONE game where there isn't one of these being used. I don't know, just my opinion I guess. But way to ruin a great game.
