500W unit is more than enough for any single card rig. In fact, even dual GPU cards such as the 760 Mars and GTX 690 will work with a 500W PSU, and possibly a Titan Z. I doubt you have anything as high end as that though.
Thanks for the build but I think the cpu is kind of weak for its price?
you thought wrong young one.
What you have there is an I7 without any of the crap that you get with it.

Weak? That Xeon is stupid fast, I believe that Xeon is basically a i7 4770K without the integrated graphics. For productivity and games it's a brilliant choice.

With CPU's like this, it has the cores to make up for the core speed.
For example, when rendering or whatever, it will use 4 cores, 8 threads [basically 8 cores] with them 8 cores, it doesnt need to have a faster core speed than other quad cores.

Derp. Moar GHz/=better CPU. Xeon E3-1230 V3 is kind of like an i7-4770 without iGPU, which you don't need with a dedicated card anyway. Games such as BF and Crysis utilize hyperthreading so perform slightly better with the 4C/8T Xeon, as well as i7's. Things such as content creation, editing and rendering benefit from the extra cores, more so than extra RAM.
