Not really. Individual cases need to be examined. You wouldn't say the same thing about car crashes, yet they happen often.

Ol_Blue_Eyes wrote If you can talk you can breath

I could say what someone has already said, that you can exhale, but not inhale.
It would be much easier to just say obviously not considering he passed out and died...
Unless he just happened to pass out at the exact moment this was happening and die because of some illness he had.

AR15 wrote Jesse Jackson is a reverend and is out there causing more trouble than what is needed by running his mouth that is supposedly linked to God in some way.

Pointing to the protesters and saying 'Look at all this crap they're doing!' is deflection.
It doesn't change the fact that the police have killed people, the only recent killing that I am convinced was unlawful was Eric Garner, that was quite obviously manslaughter and yet nothing came of it.
If someone protesting that throws a brick through a window, does it change anything about Eric Garner's death? No.

Dovashin wrote Did you even question to what the man did before the cops got on him? No, you just blame the cops. I'm sick of this shit.

In terms of a crime, he visited the same shop twice and aroused the suspicion of the owner.
In terms of what he did right before they took him down, if it was something which required 3 [or 4] trained security guards to pepper spray him, kneel on his back, push his head into the floor, and ignore him when he's saying he can't breathe, I'd be very surprised.

Can I also point out that you downvoted this post [along with almost every other post on this topic,] Dovashin:
These people should learn the correct way to handle a situation, instead of using their power incorrectly.

You think that this was the correct way of handling the situation?
The way which results in the person dying? Thank God you're not in charge of the police.
If you didn't watch this video and think, 'They should change their policy on how to get the cuffs on, and find different ways of detaining people with minimum harm.' then you need help.
It's blind faith in the police which I can't stand. You're allowed to question them and their methods.

C4s wrote If he would have done what the cops said he would never have had this happen

Or the police could find ways of detaining people which don't include kneeling on their backs and pushing their heads into the ground.
Just because someone disobeys the police, or a security guard, doesn't mean they can get away with killing the person, purposefully or otherwise.

we need to do something, fight back.
I know it might not be the best because we could
end up in jail or killed by them still. but they are not
going to stop unless we do something.

EDIT: people are going to say well they protect
you and all that. does this look like there protecting
us? This is not the first time something like this

All those downvotes you got are from people who don't understand where your're coming from. Those people need to come to a town, like mine and maybe yours too, that is mostly lower-middle class to understand why we don't like the police. They'll see a completely different kind of police force.

I assume people are downvoting because this story has nothing to do with police. :p

This wasn't on purpose, they were trying to restrain him and it went very badly.
There's a big difference between negligence [if this even qualifies as that] and murder.

Unlike Eric Garner, we don't see what happened in the beginning, only him being restrained. We basically have no idea if the man was trying to harm the officer or not.

It's not an officer, so we know he's not trying to do that.
Private security are the ones who did this.
