I think you can but im pretty sure that it would have to be newer games that use Tools.

So If I had gta 5 digitally downloaded which I do and had a jtag could I host lobbies?

I think so I personally have never tried digital games but yes I think it would work.

They would work he same as games on a disc as you run them from your HDD, convert the GOD format (Games on Demand) to XeX format on your computer, find a few tutorials on YouTube on how to do that.

Yes, you can still "hack" them. But you'll need a tool. And a LOT more research before you decide to get one. Figure in the cost of operating a console. It'll be at LEAST $140to start going online...

Cheapest console; Xenon $100 (+10-20 for shipping)
Stealth $10 a day
KVs are $20 each (roughly)

Is hosting your little GTA lobby worth all the time, research, and money? If your answer to that is yes you really need to re-evaluate how you look at things...
