im currently trying to update my nand to dash 16767 and everytime i flash and boot up i get an e71 error and when it's writing it says i have a zeropaired error and another thing i noticed is that when it's writing the blocks it says on original 0x03ae or something like that but the hacked one says 0x0400 anybody that can help will be much appreciated thanks...

Why are you updating to 16767? The latest dash kernel is 17150.

well thanks for the info cause what i was searching said the latest was 16767 so that's why i was trying but thanks any links will be helpful it's not my first time i've been around but i havent played around with it for like 2 years so i'm alittle outdated sorry

ok here is the thing i had a guy try to help me with no luck so i tried updating to the latest then got the e71 again but i tried taking off the hdd and turnned it on it had the update but no xex menu due to its on the hdd but i can run with my old nand with hdd no problem

Dump the NAND, update it using Xebuild, and reflash. Ignore the zeropaired error, it doesnt mean anything. If youre getting an e71 error, try booting up in Xell with the nand on a USB. That will reflash it using that nand

i tried that but it keeps coming up with the e71 no matter what only boots with old nand so i cant even update

Its a bad plugin. Do you happen to have a stealth server?

You are wrong. You need the stealth servers updated xex for it to boot up properly. Either that or remove it. A bad plugin caused E71. Thats why when you took out the HDD it worked

fixed my problem with e71 had nothing to do with not having xbox stealth all you have to do if you run into this problem when your building your nand dont include dashlaunch or the dashlaunch.ini file
