My iphone 4s is jailbroken, I forgot on what version , and it just bricked on me and I cant fix it. ive tried every way on youtube and none of them work. I have it in recovery mode right now, but my computer dosnt pop it up in itunes. please help, I can plus rep.

Uninstall and reinstall itunes and/or update to latest version. Put the device in DFU mode instead of recovery mode and try to restore it that way.

First take it out of recovery by holding the home and power button for 10seconds then release the home button and continue holding the power until you see the apple logo. If it does not boot completely plug it into a computer and put the device into DFU mode home + power 10seconds release power and continue holding the home button then wait for your computer to install drivers then restore via itunes
