Well I've had this problem for years now.
I use Windows Photo Viewer to view pictures like most people on my Windows 7 laptop.
Every time I'm going through saved pictures on my home drive, after clicking next a few times, it freezes, and I get this.

I have to close the photos and start again.
The crash time is random all the time - sometimes it occurs after clicking next twice, sometimes twenty times.
Any help is appreciated as it's extremely frustrating.

Have you got Nero or DivX installed? If you do make sure you've got the latest versions of those. If I were you, I'd restore from the backup which was made by the OEM (assuming you bought the computer from a store)

I don't have any of those programs installed.
Thanks for your help though!
