everytime i put in a redeem code it says i have to add billing info and i do but it thinks i live in canada so it says invalid postal code everytime what should i do?

GO to settings, then location and change to USA

Maybe your account was made originally in a different state? if so try doing it on xbox.com

Try to do it on Xbox .com

Or try to do the initial set up at settings.

Or do the code thingy to reset it

You can change ( Move ) your account to a different Location.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
watch that video, and follow what he does. Your going to Change your Location, It should be under " Move Account "
I had the same problem.
