The best thing you could do in college to help with modding is programming so you learn how to do codes in different languages like C, C#, C++ and then you could end up making your own patches for the games you want to mod you will also learn other language like ones to use to make a website etc... but that's the closest thing you will get what is close to modding for xbox.
