GPU upgrade would be most beneficial for 4k gaming. Personally, I'd ask for a GTX 970 because I'd hate to have a friend waste a lot of money on me, but if you're willing to ask for it, a GTX 980 would be nice. R9 295X2 is the best card right now for 4k gaming from benchmarks I have seen, but it's a dual GPU card, it runs very loud and can get hot, it comes with it's own AIO so it's not a very efficient choice. TL;DR- Grab a 980 if you can.
Also, a 1200W PSU for that rig is moronic, there's no way you're using more than 450W.

I know, but it was at a pawn shop for $20 when I bought it, figured I'd future proof my system for a decade potentially. I'm pretty sure if you found that deal and you were an avid PC gamer, you'd get it too if they let you test it before buying it also.

I linked to it already, that tigerdirect link.
You need to visit pawn shops dude, especially the ones that don't know crap about computer parts. They'll miss price so many things, but not all in good ways. Example of a bad miss price: at the same pawn shop I got that PSU for $20, they had a Super Nintendo that was missing the power cord, any controller, and the AV adapter, yet they still put a price tag of $79.99 on it.
Seriously, pawn shops that don't know crap about electronics that have a no-working-and-return policy are the best places to buy electronics, since they will often miss price things in a good way. No one knows of them either, so that makes them even better.

Oh, I missed the link. I want to know who sold an AX1200i to a pawn shop for less than $20 so I can slap them.

this whole story of yours just sounds like one big lie. However, I'll play along.
No point of getting a nice gpu capable of 4k unless you have a 4k monitor.
If you have one,a 970 would be great.
You might want to upgrade your CPU too since it will be a bit unbalanced.
The whole AX1200i thing is stupid too. If you really have it, sell it and use the money for a new PSU and CPU
