So I am planning on upgrading my CPU and I only have about $100 to spend. I want to buy an AMD fx 63000 but I don't know if my mobo supports this CPU. The AMD FX 6300 has a AM3 socket. Any feedback would be great!

Um, no. That's an Intel LGA1150 motherboard. Why would you want to swap an LGA1150 CPU for an AM3+ CPU anyway? That's going in reverse. AM3+ is a dead socket, and the FX-6300 is an old chip. What CPU do you currently have and what is your upgrade budget? Might be useful to know the rest of your specs as well so if you could list those, that'd be great.

No, the motherboard has a different chipset than the CPU.

My budget is $125 at the most. I only picked the 6300 because it is 6-core and cheap. I was thought of getting and i3.
PC Specs
Ram- 4gb

Graphics Card- XFX Radeon R7 265

CPU- Intel Pentium Dual Core G3220

Case and PSU, make and model? Also, do you have 1x4GB stick of RAM or 2x2GB? If nothing else has to be upgraded asap, your best bet is to save a little more and grab an i5-4440, you can pick one up for around $175 or so.

Best bet is to save another $50 or so if you can, and grab an i5-4440.
