Probably won't make a thread, but add me as a friend & I'd be glad to help you out through IM.

A quick tip I can give you is bet small/cheap skins on teams that are unlikely to win, so when they do win the returns are a lot higher & when they lose, you're not losing your best Skins.

That's how I place most of my bets & it works pretty well for me, on my phone so can't post a screenshot of my Inventory atm.

While a thread can help, it still doesn't hurt to do a little research on the teams playing, and even then, anything can happen.

A good place to start looking for threads and research is here.

Whenever there is a new game, it will be listed with a green box around it, red boxes are for games that finished and black boxes are for games that were forfeited, cancelled, moved or when it was concluded that a team has thrown the match, so they get high money on skins (myRev vs Volgare, never forget, rip payout.) Anyways, within the threads, there will be the expected or confirmed roster for both teams, the maps when they are confirmed, how many games will be played, BO1, BO3, BO5, the time and a few other things, which look like this upon clicking on those games, especially the team's K/D (these are the upcoming games you can bet on.)

Most of the time within these subreddits, there will be users joking around, talking about what team they think will win, how much they bet, ect. However, there are a few users who will post a much more detailed analysis on the teams playing, like so for the next 2 games you can bet on.

unu.AiN vs Aligon analysis

Now, just don't look for big long worded analysis, while those can help with a bet, there are even some small things people will post, that are pretty important and can be missed by a huge analysis, while it can be tedious to read a whole thread, especially when it's people posting just random things at times, it's better to get as much info as you can on a team instead of just blind betting (unless you just have money to throw away, then you can risk it if you want.) Another thing, try not to bet on one team after reading one "convincing" analysis, I can't tell you how many times people will read one thing that makes something click in their head, that makes them think the team they're betting on is going to 100% win that game, only for them to come back to a thread and complain about it.

Another place for more research on teams.

Now to my knowledge, this site doesn't stream, let alone keep score for every game, they even stream some games that aren't on CSGOL to bet on, more of just to see how a team plays.

This is the section that you will be using more than anything, it will too, just like Reddit, list the players, map, time, recent match history at the bottom and responses from other people on the teams as well.

All I can say for starting out with betting, don't bet more than your inventory can handle. While it might see tempting to "all in", don't do it, if your inventory can't handle it, even more so if it's a BO1 game, those can be one of, if not the most risky games to bet on. Research as much as you can to help ease where you think you should bet. If there isn't much info on a team(s), it would be wise to skip that bet, but that's up to you. Another thing, just because CSGOL have such skewed odds towards a team, doesn't mean that team will guarantee a win. Upsets happen quite often, some worse than others.

Winout vs Adapt, 18% on Winout / 82% on Adapt, Winout took the game.
Denial vs Lunatik, was something special, I believe it was 94% on Lunatik and 6% on Denial, Luntaik stomped Denial 16:2 on Dust 2, but after that, it went downhill for Lunatik, with Denial coming out as the winner, causing one of the biggest upsets on stream, that I've seen so far (dAT vs Unnamed wasn't too much a shock to me, dAT can be inconsistent at times.)

I could probably do a more detailed part for betting in my CSGO Guide.
