Either Emerald or Fire Red.

But I haven't played any of the games after Gameboy Advanced.

I really like diamond & perl, I'm not sure why I've just always loved that game.

Personally my favorite is probably the gen 2 Crystal version. It was my first pokemon game ive ever had so it has a special place in my heart

Pokemon diamond was my favorite hands down, almost 700 hours clocked on that game. At the time it was so good looking and had so many features the other games did not so i loved it.

My favorite Pokemon game would be Pokemon Yellow, I wish they will ever make a remake in full hd, 3D if possible first person... <3
