You would save a ton! When you buy a pre-built computer your basically paying extra so you don't have to build it. Trust me, It would be a whole lot cheaper.

Most pre-built computers generally come with a cheap and unreliable PSU meaning it'll need upgraded if you value your parts, usually has an outdated and pretty bad CPU, along with a bad GPU. Pretty much meaning you'll need to purchase replacements for those costing you the same as it would to fully build your own computer rendering the pre-built useless and a very big waste of money.

Building your own computer would give you a much better computer for the price you pay along with a lot better performance.

Depending on parts and what PC you are comparing to, i would say generally you could say $100+ if your building. Not to mention Sales most websites have.

Building your own PC is just an overall better experience. You get to really know the parts of your computer and how they work and how everything pieces together. Plus, it's not difficult at all.

If you want to game on it building your own is better by far. When it comes to a machine only used for web browsing though, prebuilts don't look like that bad of an option.
