So my Xbox one has a year warranty on it and it got struck by lightning. If I send it in for repair will they be able to tell that it's been struck by lightning.

they wont fix that its not there fault. i was looking into this the other day wondering what happens if your brand new 5,000$ 4k gets struck or a surge i was supprised to find out most home insurances dont cover that so your out of luck best thing you can do is buy a surge protector for your fuse box or buy that bestbuy warrenty or walmart wherever you go. on a side note go buy a lottery ticket if lighting came that close to you haha

Why was your xbox outside while there was lightning?
You could try to send it in, Not like its going to cost you anything
