Those like me who have frequented the news area a lot lately, have noticed all of the articles about ISIS, random terrorist attacks, and the pain caused to many people. Well this news article might make the amount of hope you have, increase ten fold!

There was a suggestion in Frances lower house of Parliament, to extend French airstrikes against the Islamic State group in Iraq. And it was approved. Terror took to the streets in France as a man claiming allegiance with the Islamic State group killed four people and a policewoman in a grocery store. While two brothers that he knew claimed ties with Al-Qaida, over in Yemen, during the attack that killed 12 people in a newspaper office.

Prime Minister Manuel Valls was quotes at to saying "France is at war with terrorism, jihadism and radical Islamism, France is NOT at war with a religion. France is NOT at war with Islam and Muslims." It seems as though he knows the difference, he knows that Islam is not the enemy, it says a lot knowing that his goals are set, he knows that the enemy, is the extremists who use a religion as a weapon, while most of the people in that religion actually want world peace as well.

The suggestion was discussed, and came out as 488 to 1. The one that did not vote for this made claims such as the situation is already getting better, and retaliation will "Invite them back to cause more harm", that is cowardice. Don't let someone shoot you in the foot, and then let them walk away. You shoot back.

France quickly joined the United States in conducting airstrikes against the Islamic State group last year after the militants took over sections of Iraq and Syria. French law requires a vote on extending such operations after four months. France is not bombing in Syria.

There is hope for all these brave souls who even after being hit with disaster, stand proudly, as if to say, "That all you got?"

I'd have to agree with the one intelligent French that voted against it.

You can't fight terrorist with terror, it's like fighting fire with fire.

You also can't stand idly by while innocent people are being murdered by these scumbags either though.

Agreed I understand Miss' point but all this madness needs to be stopped and the only way I see it happening is by force.

But fighting fire with fire works too, if there's a raging fire, start small fires around it, they clash, and then the overall fire can't spread anymore and dies down eventually, so it works lol

Why not? We did when Israel killed over 2500 innocent Palestinians and completely obliterated entire blocks. We also did (still do) whilst innocent people are getting killed in Ukraine, Nigeria, Mexico, and Yemen.

Tell me almighty Miss, how do you propose we fight them?
Or should be continue to let them kidnap, rape, and murder children?

I understand she's taking a different route, but everyone had opinions, and everyone deserves respect so long as they are also willing to show it. And she's respectful to people, it's like politics, we may fight, and argue, about beliefs and such, but we're all still friends We've tried negotiating though, and they're bent on bringing this entire world into the hands of Islam extremists, and we just cant let that happen

So basically what you're saying is because of every past incident we should just never do anything right? Like we're just suppose to continue letting situations like this and others happen instead of evolving as a society and deciding that it is in fact time to step up and at least attempt to do something about these things? That's a very poor mindset to have in my opinion.
