Woodkid wrote The collateral damage is needless in this case though because there are 1.6 billion Muslims in the world.
Even if only half of them started to support reform it would easily overwhelm the extremist minority.
Like I said, this wouldn't be an instantaneous change, but I think it would provide longer lasting peace than just 10 years.

Do you see this reform you speak of happening anytime in the near future?

Tell me almighty Miss, how do you propose we fight them?
Or should be continue to let them kidnap, rape, and murder children?

Tell me why everyone only cares about terrorism since it hit a first world country.

You saying Should we continue watching and letting everything happen, when this has been going on for years in African countries and the middle east.
But yet we sit by and dont give a shit,The second it happens in France/EU everyone goes insane.

There has also been US troop involvement in Africa for a long ass time now.
Trust me, just because shit isn't making headlines anymore doesn't mean there isn't steps being taken to stop it.

And the "kids getting kidnapped, raped, and murder" was directly talking about the things they're doing outside of America and other first world countries.

ohh okay, so a long time hey? That's why the US where around to help Rwanda...
They let over 1 million people die and did not care.
And for now? What about the wars going on in Lybia? The only thing they have done is ONE airstrike which killed 9 civilans.
Or the wars in Somalia, Central African Republic conflict, or the congo..
I can just tell this is going to start a debate..

Oh please. We care. Policies were changed to make sure shit like this can't exactly happen again.

We provide surveillance and intelligence to the Libyan army.
Intelligence is the most important part of any war.

Congo war is over (according to [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ), we've been helping in the Somali civil war since 1992, and we haven't gotten involved in the Central African Republic conflict because that doesn't even remotely compare to the ones you previously listed.

EDIT: Ignore the Congo war comment, i'm looking up on it now. I will respond when I look further into it.

Why can't we all just get along? Come on guys, there's a rational answer to all these problems, the greatest groups of people are those who think alike and can work towards one single goal. Peace.

This debate has actually been civil.

Dude the US seriously did not care about Rwanda..

I have also watched and studied about the genocide, And they could of helped but they choose not too.
Changing policies does not change the fact that what they did was wrong.
