This topic hurt me here, here and here... would help if you saw what I was doing but you get the hint.

You guys are just throwing around brand names. Thats like saying is Tesco better than ASDA. Each has their benefits and drawbacks.

OP, budget and currency? Also, what games do you want to play on this monitor and what are your current specs of your PC?

i would recommend the Asus - 23.6" Widescreen LED Monitor it has a 2ms response time ive had it for a year now great monitor and cheap for what you get

For gaming I recommend a high refresh rate. 120-144Hz is a great range for gaming if your computer supports it, once you go 120+Hz you won't be able to go back to a lower refresh rate it makes it look incredibly choppy.

Here is a good 1080p144Hz monitor that will make your gaming experience like no other.

the best monitor i have ever used is the asus vg248qe i have three of them in my gaming set up and i absolutely love them they are they have a 1ms response time and 144hz refresh rate and are even capable if 3d but i have never tried the 3d so i cant really tell you how that is heres the link to it on amazon if you would like one they can run on the higher end of the scale price wise though
