Looking into buying a PVR/Capture card. Price is not an issue. I was just wondering what peoples thoughts are on certain ones and which you all might recommend. Any response are appreciated and I will give you +Rep with the little that I have thanks.

I have an HD PVR and would say the elgato is a better choice because of user friendly improvements it has over the PVR

I have an HDPVR2 and it has HDMI.
It's not bad, but Elgato is way easier to use.
If I could go back I would've bought the Elgato.

I am considering the PVR due to HDMI. From what I understand El gato doesn't record 1080p? thank you for your response
