Putting a pc together is like putting together legos.
Just make sure you use an anti static wrist band, you can put it on your ankle. Also, just drop the cpu in place, there is an arrow on the mother board, and the cpu indicating which way it goes, then just put the arm down. It may seem like you're breaking it, but you'll be fine. The only trouble you might have is putting in the front panel indicators, but thats pretty easy. Also, just take your time and make it neat.

Watch any YouTube tutorial, almost all of them will be helpful for a first time builder. Anti-static wrist bands aren't needed, I don't bother with them. Don't build that rig, most YouTubers are horrible at recommending builds. In all honesty, that is one of the better suggestions. Do not get that PSU though, it's horrible. $70 will get you a decent XFX or SeaSonic unit.

Pretty similar, but larger HDD and better PSU.
Edit #2-The build in that YouTube video will come to $1150, if you were to buy all of the components from Amazon, just a heads up. What I suggested is better anyway and if you buy all of the components I suggested from SuperBiiz, it will come to around $1000 or slightly under. Though, if you get the PSU from Amazon instead, you will save around $25, so go ahead and buy what I suggested from SuperBiiz and the PSU from Amazon for a better rig than in that YT video at a price of $975 or so.

I have to go visit family, should be back in an hour or so at the latest, will help then since you should edit the build slightly for your needs. So, I'll help when I'm back if someone else doesn't help you out first.

Okay, I'm back. What do you mean you're "not big on 1080p"? 1080p is beginning to become low resolution with 1440p and 4k becoming the norm so anything less than 1080p is pretty much pointless. For editing/rendering, an 8 thread CPU such as a Xeon would be beneficial but to get one in budget, you'd need to get a cheaper motherboard, and SSD most likely, unless you were to sacrifice GPU performance.
