Well right now I am running on an i5-2500k and a gtx 650. I was wondering if upgrading to an 15-4690k and a gtx 750ti would be worth it as it would be around 390$?

Honestly the processor upgrade doesn't even seem worth it. You wont get much performance boost. I'd go with just the card or perhaps two. If you want to do a processor upgrade go for a i7 3770k or better. If you choose to just upgrade the card go with a 770 or 970

You wouldn't notice a difference.
The 2500K is a GREAT CPU, keep it a while longer and get a 970 instead of a 750 Ti.

Keep that 2500k. I'd wait until Skylake for a CPU upgrade to be honest. With $390, you could get a nice GTX 970. Also, upgrading from GTX 650 to a GTX 750Ti wouldn't be worth it IMO, minimal performance gains for around $100 isn't justifiable. Make sure you have a good quality PSU as well, because if you don't, that'd be a wise upgrade.

I was thinking it over and I was probably going to just get a 970 anyways. But I really shouldn't upgrade the processor?

Should I get the 970 from ASUS or Gigabyte?

I have a bit more money leftover so would upgrading to an i7 4790k not be worth it?
