This isn't me just being biased he is genuinely one of the best strikers I have used on this game.


Pros
Incredibly quick
2 footed
Good finishing
Good work rates
CHEAP


Cons

Weak
3* Skill moves


Has scored 89 and has 50 assists in 70 for me which is good considering I have 2 strikers (who also has a good goal scoring record).

I have him in a Huddersfield team so I doubt people will be making that ;) but if you have a silver championship team (which seem popular this year) definitely give him a go!

Review:
Great player, 4* Skills, Great turning circle, dribbling feels light and smooth, Serie A is also a very common team to make so fits in nicely just behind your striker/s. If not, can be a good avenue to explore as a hybrid with Eden Hazard if you have the coins.

Overall I'd sum up by saying that the brilliance of Mertens is how versatile he is, can fit in many teams and does a great job - also I've noticed along with a lot of others that Fifa 15 takes the emphasis slightly away from strength like the earlier games, and focuses a bit more on balance and agility, and Dries has these qualities a plenty.

Easily the best CDM I've used on this game, he's incredibly cheap too. I would 100% recommend him.
