I have many pimples on the back of my neck. I believe its called Acne Keloidalis Nuchae, Its not severe at all. Its a bunch of pimples in one area. Im not even attempting to pop them because it will leave scar marks. Im 17 turning 18 in one month. Im a male with long hair, i put my hair into a pony tail thinking that maybe it needed some air for my skin to breathe , but i doubt it at this point. can somebody help please?

okay do NOT take this offensively, I am not saying you do not do any of these already.

Be sure to scrub and clean that area more than you are normally doing so.

Try anti-pimple cream/ products that remove pimples, they aren't always effective though.

It is possible for it to be an allergic reaction to your shampoo/conditioner? try using a different brand for a little and see if it makes a difference

Try not to scratch the effected area or pop them like you said

Honestly it could just be hormones and growing up i know when i was a little girl i had a few pimple problems and these are the things i did.
hope this helps

theres this thing that proactive makes that i think could help you out i have had so problems with ance as well and proactive seems to be working for me if you go to there website i think its the teen acne package it comes with all the thing you need to get rid to acne but the thing that would be most useful to you in the package would be the body wash soap bar that you just wash your body with im the shower you might even just be able to get it by itself without buying the whole package but its up to you

I always clean that area, & i really don't take anything to offense, also I've been using head and shoulders for several years so i don't think that can be the problem. i will try some more cream/products but which is most effective? Ive tried using proactive, and dermatologist recommended cream.

Proactive doesn't work for me at all.. its not effective and it dries out my skin & irritates it to the fullest. it gives it a burning sensation..

if proactive is not working for you another brand that i have not used but my friends have told me works is x out its a one step cream where you just put it on like one or two times a day or theres medication that your doctor or dermatologist can proscribe that can reduce acne by targeting the hormones and bacteria that can cause acne again i have never used and they might not work for everyone but people have told me that it worked

If this is always on your mind go to the Doctor they will give you the best advice.
My mate went on a drug called Accutane but that's for severe acne. A couple on the neck might only need some prescription tablets from your doctor.

You should go to a doctor instead of asking for medical advice on a gaming forum lol.
I could give you a potion if you want..

Leave em be. Everyone gets them and there is nothing to be ashamed of. It's not like people point them out and laugh at you for them, unless they're your friends. But who cares, they last a few days maybe a week tops.

Best thing to do is forget about them, drink more water, and exercise more if you already do. Or if you don't, than start. Don't stress over them as that'll only make it worse. Stress is one of the main reasons most people get them in the first place.

Its honestly because you are still going through puberty. Going through puberty will make some people, including myself when I was younger, have pimples like crazy and make sure your hair isn't very oily because that has a big effect on pimples, (Im not saying you do bro). Give it another year or 2 and you'll see those bastards disappear.

When I use to get a lot of pimples, ages 15-18, I used everything to try and get rid of them but nothing worked. I found this cream from VICHY.com called Normaderm and that stuff does wonders for my skin man. Its a green fluid incase you wanna find it and like I said, it does wonders. I've used Proactive and all of those other products and nothing worked. I highly suggest this product homie. I've used this since I was 19 and im now 21 and haven't had problems.

Dont stress homie!
