There is no way to bypass this. I suggest you return this to the owner or else you could get in trouble for possessing stolen property.

Not trying to make anyone look bad. And there's other ways to return it. Try contacting apple. I'm sure they know how to return it.

I bought an iphone 6 a few days ago and I know if I lost it I'd be really upset. I'd give it back to the owner if you can. I'm sure there are numbers in the phone that you could call and let know you have found the phone.

The fact that you are at an icloud activation lock proves you tried restoring. you don't restore a random phone unless you plan to use it so don't say they are trying to make people look bad.

There is no way to get around the iCloud lock unless you go into an Apple store and get them to unlock it for you, and for that you are going to have to provide proof of ownership.

Hey man don't worry about what everyone is saying.. Just a simple answer to your question would've been fine.

I can't guarantee this will work, but check Gadget Wide iOS Tool, It works with like iPhone 4, 4s, 5, 5c i think. But I never tried with a 6.

Good luck trying to find the solution, But if you don't figure it out just try to return it. My iPhone 5 got stolen and I would've loved to get it back but sadly I didn't.
