That rig is nearly $900 before rebates. The PSU isn't very good at all. Are you adamant about overclocking? If not, get a 4440 and B85 chipset motherboard, then swap the R9 290 for a GTX 970. As for case, either CM N200 or NZXT S340.

Still pretty poor. What is your full budget? Also, you can get an OS for free, easily, and that would allow a larger budget for components, so you should definitely do that.

About $990 after discounts. The RAM won't match the build too well, so you might want to spend a few extra dollars to get a more neutral coloured RAM.
what do you mean the ram wont match the build? what is differnet with this build and mine?

The RAM is red, there's nothing else in the build that is red so the colour won't match but it will still be fine. You can spend a few extra dollars to get black RAM if you wish but it won't make a difference.
What I suggested is better. Better PSU, GPU, SSD(as well as larger capacity). The case I suggested is arguably nicer

Well, yes. It's better than what you asked about originally. GTX 970 will handle anything you throw at it with ease.
