This isn't a conspiracy, but I thought this would be the best place to put it.

After a night of partying, waking up feeling like shit was expected. Sleeping through the next two days and waking up with a 106 degree fever was not. Two hours, three chest x-rays, many shivers and a flu diagnosis later, I'm stuck laying in a hospital bed for what seems like forever. Because of a conversation with the nurse earlier that evening, it is decided that I am in need of these.. things that are supposed to protect me from... stuff. I don't know the details, I wasn't paying attention when it was discussed. But they were like mini vaccines I guess. Anyways, I had a thing stuck up my nose and rubbed around, then another one stuck down the back of my throat and rubbed around. After that we were left on our own for a long time so they could deal with prescriptions and whatnot.

Well it was late and I was obviously ill, so I tried going to sleep. This is where it gets weird. Now I don't remember how I transitioned into this state, but I remember suddenly feeling a sensation that I'll try my best to explain. Basically I felt a cool sharp sensation, not necessarily painful, just a present sensation. It was something I had never experienced anything like before. I saw nothing but white; pure white. A blank canvas. However, I had some awareness of scanning my field of view. Then I realized, I had absolutely no sense of a body whatsoever. It was as if I had nothing to even attempt to move, as far as arms or legs. I was simply a conscience. Then, I got an overwhelming feeling of boredom, along with a slight pain in my back (even though I couldn't feel my back? This feeling is truly indescribable, I'm trying my best :c).

From here on, I'm not 100% certain of the order of the events. But at some point in time, I went back to the hospital bed. My eyes were wide open and I could see everything around me as if nothing happened. Except I was still in the same state. I couldn't move or even attempt to move anything, including my eyelids. I could see people walking by my room and hear the disgusting hospital noises. One weird occurrence that happened during this, though, was when I was looking across the hall into the room directly across from my own. I could see the other bed and the person laying in it. But then a nurse walked in and was blocking the view. Then without my own doing, it was as if my perspective changed and I was looking from a different angle, because I could see perfectly around the nurse. Obviously I didn't move myself..

Well, after all that excitement I started to wonder how long I would be stuck like this. So I waited. And waited. And waited. It was terribly frightening and yet at the same time excruciatingly boring. Then finally, a loud noise happened and my mom in the chair next to me woke up. She noticed my eyes opened and said something, to which I was somehow able to give a grunt to or something minor. From then on, I slowly started to come back to reality. However, when I was finally able to start moving my body parts again, it didn't feel right. It almost felt as if I was having to do the opposite that I wanted to do. For instance if I wanted to move my arm left, I would have to try to move it right. Then for the next hour or so, my brain was still out of it and basically everything that was said I was unable to actually process. It went in one ear and out the other. I started coming to by the car ride home, but only minimally. I didn't feel me again until the next morning.

Basically, everything from falling asleep on during that night was a very foreign and generally unpleasant experience for me. I just want to know what you guys think of it. What you think the cause was (I personally think it was the vaccine things. Nothing else was actually put into my system so if it was a reaction or something, that would have to be the cause). If you have had any similar experiences. Or if you have any interesting, trippy hospital stories yourself.

Sounds like you have a bad sweep of derealization/depersonalization.

Depersonalization (or depersonalisation) is an anomaly of self-awareness. It consists of a feeling of watching oneself act, while having no control over a situation.[1] Subjects feel they have changed, and the world has become vague, dreamlike, less real, or lacking in significance. It can be a disturbing experience, since many feel that, indeed, they are living in a "dream". Chronic depersonalization refers to depersonalization disorder, which is classified by the DSM-IV as a dissociative disorder.

Though degrees of depersonalization and derealization can happen to anyone who is subject to temporary anxiety/stress, chronic depersonalization is more related to individuals who have experienced a severe trauma or prolonged stress/anxiety. Depersonalization-derealization is the single most important symptom in the spectrum of dissociative disorders, including dissociative identity disorder and "dissociative disorder not otherwise specified" (DD-NOS). It is also a prominent symptom in some other non-dissociative disorders, such as anxiety disorders, clinical depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia,[2] borderline personality disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, migraine and sleep deprivation, and it can be a symptom of some types of neurological seizure.

I'd bring it up to your mom and have her call the hospital. Chances are it was a one time event, but it can be a sign of some serious issues.
You're better off getting it checked out just to be safe.

I'll link some more reading material for you to check out, see if it fits your "event."

I read into them. Depersonalization sounds like it *may* possibly be part of what happened, but some parts of it don't sound correct. Derealization sounds pretty far from anything that happened. However, both of them can be caused by sleep deprivation, stress and anxiety, all of which I had been experiencing strongly some time during that night. With the current information, I'm going to assume it's nothing that needs attention brought to it. Also, for the record, I told my mom about it on the way home. She didn't seem concerned, just interested in my story lol.

Fair enough man.
If anything like that ever happens again I'd encourage professional opinion on the matter however.

Stay well.

Thanks man. I'll definitely take your advice on that. Thank for for the useful information as well. By the way, how did you even know about those things? Did you do some googling? I've never heard of them before.

I have some very mild symptoms and I know a few people who have experienced it to a degree.
So I looked into it in the past, just general interest in it had me researching it up.
