Hello guys, I have some great news for you all. If you all are like me, and struggled trying to beat Crota today. WORRY NO MORE. IT'S QUITE EASY WITH THIS STRATEGY.

Now... It's very helpful to have an entire team level 32 with maxed out Gjallahorns/Hunger of Crotas and Icebreakers/Blackhammers. By now, everyone should have the Icebreaker since Xur was extremely generous to us last weekend. Anyway, back to the guide.

To start off, do everything like normal. Stand on the platform, summon Crota, and clear Hive on both sides.
INSTEAD of sitting in left room, get outside and get on the ledge that you summon Crota at. It's directly in front of the crystal outside the middle window and the spot is PERFECT. Why I say it's perfect is because:
A. Boomers can't hit you from there, which basically means that the Wizard won't spawn. (Wizard is only triggered by killing the duo-boomers.)
B. No worrying about gatekeeper.

Now, this is an important part.
When the Ogre's spawn, drop a bubble shield somewhere (preferably right outside the stairs on left or right side.)
Another important part is to wait in the crystal room when Crota is rotating. When Crota rotates from left to middle or right to middle, is when you'll want to make your way to the ledge again.

REMINDER:
Crota gets enraged at 25% of health. So his enragement is off of his health bar, not time. So, it's very smart to get his health at 30% and then use two swords to kill him. Once his gets enraged, he will summon his oversoul, and you must down him again to kill him before the oversoul gets you. AND CONCENTRATE YOUR FIRE ON CROTA, NOT OVERSOUL.

Thank you for reading guys, hopefully this will help you all beat Crota. It's easier this way, and not a cheese. Please comment improvements if you all want and there is a link to this guide as well. Happy Gaming!

P.S. This is not my video and all credit is due to the publishers findings.

Going to add on to this because my group did this before you posted here, 15 slam attacks (right triggers) should be just enough before he gets enraged, so count while you are slamming, the sword after 15 will enrage him so make sure you can down him 2 more times once you hit 15 slams
