I was currently watching a movie on my mac laptop and suddenly got the rainbow spinning beachball beachball. Can someone tell me how I can exit from full screen please....

Beach Ball, WTF is that! maybe it's telling you to bounce in on the floor a few times.

Just restart your computer. Whenever this has happened to me in the past where the beach ball indicated my computer froze I just held the power button to turn it off and restarted my laptop. Worked fine for me.
