Where do I even begin, I haven't played a single online game without experiencing horrible lag and timeouts. The network is literally unplayable.
1. You can't listen to music while playing full screen. And even if you don't mind snapping the music app, you have to be subscribed to xbox music which is at extra cost.
2. Party chat and mics always have problems. Forcing you to power down your xbox all the way and restart anything you are doing from scratch.
3. no xfinity tv option for the xbox tv
4. Friends list is constantly unavailable.
5. The home screen is very laggy and un enjoyable.
6. My downloads are always slow, keep in mind i have pretty good internet. This isn't only a problem for me, I have many friends complaining about this.
7. License Transfers don't work. You lose the games that are licensed after a couple days.
I wish I bought a pc, waste of my 400$. Even sticking with the 360 would have been a better idea to be honest. Too many problems associated with the xbox one. Please address these problems microsoft.

I never liked listening to music while playing, and even if I did it would be from Spotify or my phone.
So unless MS wants to add Pandora and Spotify to the console, it's a dumb feature.

I've never experienced an issue with the party system.
But the stock headset did break on me within a month. And I take excellent care of my possessions.

There's an HDMI in, why bother?
Longest wrote 4. Friends list is constantly unavailable.
Again, never had this issue.
Longest wrote 5. The home screen is very laggy and un enjoyable.
Never have a problem with lag on the home menu.
The UI however is horrendous. The tiles/Windows 8 layout is terrible.

There's nothing new in terms of downloading. Microsoft throttles downloads to soften the load on them, same as they did on the 360.

It's an exploit to get free games, no shit they don't want that to happen.

Go return and by a PS4, no one cares if you like it or not. If you hate it so much just return it.
I own an Xbox One, and I am perfectly happy with it.

so license transfers shouldn't work because they are an exploit? I bought the game why can't I transfer them from my old account? And I'm surprised you've never had these problems, countless ttg posts are complaining about them, indicating that it's a company problem rather than the individual. Some people don't have spotify and would rather listen to music while playing games like call of duty or nba 2k15. Also, what does an hdmi have to do with watching tv on the xbox one?

not once did I mention the word hate let alone say that I disliked the console. And it's too late to return it, sadly if I knew about these problems before hand I would have surely purchased a pc or ps4.

While imgur has basically went over everything, Xbox One does have Pandora though. While it doesn't have playlists, the radio is not bad at all. Also, I haven't had that many issues with the friends list. It messes up every once it a while, but I'm not really that worried by it since it messing up isn't all that common.

Theres pandora but this should be a feature added and it not being there doesnt make this console broken
2. Party chat and mics always have problems. Forcing you to power down your xbox all the way and restart anything you are doing from scratch.
Ive lost all hope for their mics so i bought the chat adapter. Party Chat is getting annoying but it has improved over these past couple weeks.
3. no xfinity tv option for the xbox tv
Use the HDMI in. Just because it doesnt have a feature you want doesnt mean its broken
4. Friends list is constantly unavailable.
Constantly is an overstatement but alas even if its one time a day its still ridiculous
5. The home screen is very laggy and un enjoyable.
I have not experienced this problem since a few months after the One came out
6. My downloads are always slow, keep in mind i have pretty good internet. This isn't only a problem for me, I have many friends complaining about this.
I again dont have this problem the only person I know of that has this problem has crappy internet
7. License Transfers don't work. You lose the games that are licensed after a couple days.
I dont get what you mean here. why license transfer when you can set someone elses account to your home

You are SUPER lucky then. I have a 160 Mbps down fibre connection and have nothing but problems with party chat and mics and with my friends list being unavailable.
