do you guys think that eSports are going to finally start getting MUCH more attention. and im not talking like mlb nfl nba or soccer recognition but i do feel that eSports are growing in popularity.
for example: just last year call of duty played at the xgames for the first time. and right now im watching CS:GO at the aspen xgames.
now in my opinion and probably a lot of others, we look at the x games as being extreme sports competitions. basically athletes showcasing their best tricks and racing around as fast as they can, its stuff that you wouldnt normally do at the olympics. (yes i realize you do tricks in the olympics, but im talking like BMX and skateboarding).
even the new york times did a piece on nadeshot. and there have been many times in the chicago papers that ive seen pieces done on optic gaming.
let me know how you guys think eSports will be in 5 years. do you think they will be globally recognized like a professional sprorts team?
