I can't buy any head amour or anything for my character don't know why, I've got what it needs but it's saying I need the helmet already to buy it? Like wtf can anybody explain

If you don't have The Dark Below Dlc u can't buy anything!

The option you are trying to use is an "upgrade" therefore you need the helmet before purchase. This allows the user to upgrade (old) gear for new stats/upgrades.

Mk. 44 Stand Asides Leg Armor Titan Exotic SC 13
Don't Touch Me Gauntlets Hunter Exotic SC 13
Starfire Protocol Chest Armor Warlock Exotic SC 13
