Im a new editor on a mac looking for a new software. iMovie just doesn't do the trick for montages and intros. Im looking at Sony Vegas, After Effects and Cinema4D. Whats your opinion of those and do you guys have anymore ideas?

After effects and cinema 4d you use cinema 4d for motiontracking and after effects for efects and slowmotion here some tutorials for you [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

you dont even need c4d really, just use element 3d (you have to pay for it) then use the built in after effects camera tracker which will do most of what you want, unless you're looking to hardcore model, you dont need cinema that much...
