Because I haven't built a computer in quite a long time, am I going to be needing anything else for building it other than parts? ( I know, very nooby question)

Just curious in-case I have to buy more than just the parts.

Well, you'll need a screwdriver. Make sure the components you buy come with the correct cables and what not, or you may end up having to buy extra cables from eBay. Wouldn't hurt to buy an extra case fan as well.

Tools (screwdriver, sidecutters, pliers), Cable ties for cable management, Aftermarket thermal paste (I like MX-4), Lighter fluid to remove thermal paste from components.

Ok, so for this build [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] it would be recommended to get extra fan? If so, which fan would be a good one.

Also thanks for the help

Slightly changed;

Added in an aftermarket cooler so you can OC. More storage and a better SSD. Better keyboard. If you're not overclocking, you could save some money. Also, what will you be using the PC for?

I'll be using it for gaming, recording game-play, rendering videos and stuff like that. I posted here quite awhile ago asking for a build and what I linked is what they made for me. I don't exactly remember who built it for me but they said it should work for everything I want to do.

It will, but what I suggested is a little better. It has an aftermarket cooler so you can actually overclock, a better SSD and better peripherals. If you're editing/rendering, you'd benefit from a hyperthreaded CPU, such as a Xeon or an i7. Will you even overclock the system?

To be honest, I don't even know how to overclock lmao. If I knew how to overclock, I would.

Then get this;

4C/8T CPU will help with editing/rendering and you can add another 8GB RAM in the future, if you wish and/or need to.
