It's really been bugging me wondering why Activision hasn't decided to work with the Call of Duty franchise to create a stand-alone zombies game. Of course have the Treyarch zombies team develop it, as they clearly knew how to make an awesome zombies story line. The only logical reason I see behind them not developing this game is that Zombies draws people to standard CoD games, because myself with lots of others, purchased Blops: 1 & 2 based on the zombies alone, the multiplayer and campaign was a bonus to me.

Also with a standalone game, it will roll in even more money for these companies. I'd picture the game to feature every Treyarch zombies map that has been made, with settings that you can play with making the experience different, and possibly even better. Am I really the only one who wants a game like this?

If they released a game just Based around zombies i would be straight on that. If they do ever do this they should add a feature where you can choose your character to play as or even a feature where you can make your own character just to change the game up abit instead of just the basic 4.

I hate the way Sledgehammer introduced zombies to their game! Treyarch clearly had the idea of Zombies on cod and no other call of duty should have zombies except treyarch, but blops 1&2 were insane and im not a big fan on exo zombies

I think a zombie stand alone game would be boring. Well it depends on the price. If they're making the price like a Xbox Arcade game then I will buy it.

Sure Treyarch came up with the idea for zombies, but Activision owns it. Sledge hammer didn't steal it. They reinvented it for Advanced Warfare. I personally think they executed it great. It's unique. It touches on the original zombies mode, but is different enough to be its own thing.

Personally, a zombie standalone game holding the Call of Duty title would actually be a bad idea, maybe even a flop. Now before people rip at my throat over it, hear me out.

While people do enjoy zombies and a some people play zombies more than multiplayer/singleplayer people will still try out online. Most of their sales are due to people being hyped about the next game, which is normally from the developers over hyping the game, not for "oh zombies is back!" Whether they like it or not, they still bought the game which already funded their part.

Now, people complain as is about microtransactions on CoD, how the developers are money hungry when releasing DLC, ect, ect. A zombie game would be the same, if not much more dependent on DLC. CoD gets through the year, barely, without people complaining about how old, boring it's getting or about DLC being released as a last resort for the game. A full year of zombies only, with a certain amount of levels would be calling for DLC all the time. Zombies as of now have 4 extra maps included with the 4 yearly DLCs for CoD, a stand alone game, could technically dish out much more than that, due to people complaining about there not being enough maps, in which then people will complain about having to buy extra maps, which I wouldn't be surprised if they were at $10+ per DLC.

Zombies I feel should be left as is in CoD, as a whole game based around it would get repetitive and anyone saying CoD could/would add more maps from the start, needs to not bother, because that's how money works with DLC, look at all the past CoD games. Add a little, people complain for more, they put more in, people buy them, they got their money, they keep pumping out "new content" for people to buy, only for people to complain about later, yet will still almost always end up buying.

I could care less what others think, im not playing games 24/7, If your bored of zombies you play another game. Also if people weren't true zombies fans, than they wouldn't even purchase it without the multiplayer. I am hands down willing to spend $60 for all of the old maps on next gen, and then il even pay $10 per map, because I do that anyway with current DLC's. There are tons like me who only buy cod for zombies. Only reason I bought the AW DLC was to try the zombies. It left me itching a scratch that won't stop itching.

Think about it this way, if I don't like fifa for example, I won't buy it, and im not complaining about it. So why are multiplayers going to get mad at the stand-alone zombies game. Im even willing to spend up to $20 for 1 zombies map, because I see how well done the zombies is, with easter eggs, storyline, etc.

With the DLC portion all they need to do is continue the story-line, simple as that, and they can pump out DLC until the end of time, providing as an infinite pay for the company because of zombies fans like me.
